Advising

Every IST student has two advisors assigned to him/her.

A professional Academic Advisor who knows the requirements of your chosen major. These advisors keep up with university requirements, changes, and policies as well as those for the college and major. They also assist with your progress toward your degree, help secure financial aid, and know where to send you for help. This will be someone in the College of Science Office of Student Services.

A Faculty Advisor who knows your chosen major well.  Faculty Advisors help guide you toward your career goals and make recommendations for electives that would help you achieve your objectives.  They also help students navigate the various career options avaialable.  This will be an IST faculty member from Criminal Justice and Criminology.

If you are one of my students or advisees you can come to see me during my office hours, or generally anytime I am in the office without a commitment.
