Marshall Tropical Ecology
Belize Zoo
The Belize Zoo is located on 29 acres of tropical savanna. All the animals at the zoo are native to Belize, and they were either born at the zoo, rehabilitated or donated by other zoological institutions. The zoo provides programs such as summer camps, science fairs and training for Belizean school children. All photographs below were taken during the May 2008 trip to the Belize Zoo.
