We are finally finished getting reservations, deposits etc., so we need the last bit of your money. The total trip cost will be $3018. Make sure the check is payable to MU Foundation with Belize 210127 in the memo line.

Also, if you have not gotten a copy of your passport to me, please do that as soon as you can.

There is a new page called "Course Materials." This is where assigned readings, powerpoints, etc. will be posted. There are two PDFs there now for your review.

Also, a $1500 deposit is due today. Please make checks payable to "MU Foundation" with "Belize 210127" in the memo line.

We are in contact with BFREE and IZE finalizing payment amounts and trip dates. We have to have your deposits so we can pay a down payment on travel arrangements.

We are once again planning a trip to Belize. This summer's tentative trip dates are 18 May through 5 June. The proposed cost of the trip will be close to $3000. This includes: airfare, travel (in-country), lodging, meals and activities. The trip will be associated with the Tropical Ecology class offered in Spring 2009. Contact Sean Collins or come see Dr. Tom Jones (Morrow Library 115) for more information.

11 April 08

The May 2008 trip is cancelled. There were some reservations about sending research students "unsupervised" for an extended period of time. Dr. Jones and Sean Collins will be traveling to Belize to set up contact persons in-country. Plan on a trip in May 2009.
